Payment
All amounts shown on the website are given in Danish Kroner (DKK), including VAT and excluding delivery costs.
Seaman Chips A/S accepts online payments with Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa, and Mobilepay Online. We do not impose any form of transaction fee on your purchase.
Payment for the order will only be deducted from your account when the item is dispatched, unless otherwise agreed or stated on your order.
Seaman Chips A/S uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information, which means the connection is completely secure.

Delivery
We only deliver goods within Denmark. The delivery time for your order is usually 1-3 business days. For orders placed on weekends and public holidays, the goods will be dispatched on the first following business day. For orders placed on weekdays before 12:00 PM, the goods will be dispatched the same day.
Should there be an extended delivery time in special cases, we will notify you by email.
We deliver to private addresses in Denmark – however, not to the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
All goods are delivered with GLS and PostNord.

Returns and Right of Withdrawal
There is a 14-day full right of withdrawal on goods purchased in our webshop.
The period is calculated from the day you receive your order. Any return costs are borne by you, just as the choice of carrier is your own.
Withdrawal must be reported to us no later than 14 days after the purchase, and from the withdrawal, the order must be in our hands no later than 14 days after you have informed us of your use of the right of withdrawal.
The notice must be given by email to iam@seamanchips.com, where you must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
It is up to Seaman Chips A/S to assess the condition of the item. If the item has been tried on or tested beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item, it is considered used and of decreased value. This means that if you withdraw from the purchase, you will receive a smaller part or none of the purchase amount refunded.

Right of Complaint
In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act, a 2-year right of complaint is granted on products. The right of complaint applies to defects in material and/or manufacture.
The complaint must be communicated to Seaman Chips A/S within a reasonable time after receipt of the goods. Here, one month is considered a reasonable time, unless otherwise agreed.
The right of complaint does not apply to errors or damage caused by incorrect handling of the product.
Seaman Chips A/S covers return costs to a reasonable extent. We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery.

Privacy Policy
When you purchase an item and provide the information yourself, we receive customer data. As the data controller, we process your personal data securely and confidentially. Your personal data is only used and stored for the purposes for which it was collected.
We use third parties for processing some of our information, including in our freight handling, which are not developed by Seaman Chips A/S. We have entered into data processing agreements with our partners as a guarantee that they comply with applicable rules on the protection of personal data.

If you have a complaint and we do not succeed in finding a solution together, you will be able to use one of the following options to complain:

If you are a consumer residing in another EU country, you can submit your complaint in the EU Commission’s online complaint portal. Go to the EU complaint portal.
